What categories of data are processed by MORODER and for what purposes?

We process the following categories of customer and supplier data: company name, legal form, registered office, legal representatives and contact persons (name, surname, e-mail address and telephone/fax numbers) and billing data.

This data is stored and processed where necessary

  • for the preparation and execution of a contract (including customer relationship management);
  • for billing purposes;
  • marketing purposes, promotional, commercial and advertising activities, such as sending material and advertisements connected with the products and/or services marketed by MORODER, sending promotional emails and text messages and sending newsletters, ebooks, provided that no opposed to the use of data for commercial purposes

On what legal basis do we process data?

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and in particular:

  • Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR, which allows processing for the purposes of entering into and performing contracts;
  • Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR, which allows processing for the protection of our legitimate interests, provided that there is no overriding interest of the natural person concerned that prevents such processing.

We also process personal data on the basis of consent provided by data subjects. Data subjects may withdraw consent at any time. Such action will not have retroactive effect. However, withdrawal of consent will prevent further processing of the subject’s personal data by us. The other regulations allowing data processing (Art. 6 (1) (b) and Art. 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR) will remain unchanged.

With whom do we share the data provided? Where is personal information stored?

We share personal information that allows identification with recipients within the MORODER group who need to know such information in the performance of their functions and obligations, and with third parties entrusted with the processing of data on our behalf, as service providers, themselves bound by contracts under the Data Protection Act, or to whom MORODER must provide information in order to fulfill its legal obligations. We also share personally identifiable information with MORODER’s business partners who provide products and services sold by MORODER .

Personal information is stored on MORODER’s servers in the European Union.

Is data transferred to recipients outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (i.e. so-called third countries) or to international organizations?

Personal data of customers/suppliers will be transferred to third countries only if necessary for the execution of the contract.

How long are the data provided to MORODER kept ?

We keep personal data only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes described above and then delete them, in any case they will be deleted in accordance with the retention periods prescribed by law

What are the rights of the data subject? Where can I file a complaint?

Article 15 of the GDPR provides for the right to be informed about the data we hold about the subject.

If there is incorrect or outdated information, the subject has the right to request its correction at any time, according to Article 16 of the GDPR.

In addition, under Article 17 of the GDPR, the subject may have the right to request the deletion of his or her personal data, in the absence of our greater powers or rights in favor of continued processing.

Finally, pursuant to Article 18 of the GDPR, the individual has the right to restrict/limit the processing of his or her personal data.

You may request that the information you provide to us be sent to you in a structured, common, machine-readable format, or that it be transmitted to third parties.

Is sharing or updating data mandatory?

Providing your data is a free choice. However, we are authorized to process personal data of individuals with whom we have contractual or pre-contractual relationships, to prepare and execute contracts, and for billing purposes

Is the personal data provided used for automated decision-making processes?

In principle, we do not use customer / supplier data for automated decision-making processes as described in Article 22 of the GDPR.

Pursuant to Article 21 (1) of the GDPR, the data subject has the right to object to the processing of his or her personal data at any time if there is a special situation. In the event of an objection, we will stop the processing of personal data provided that no compelling and legitimate legal grounds in our favor, which take priority over the interests of the data subject (e.g., to enforce our rights or defend ourselves in the event of legal action), are demonstrated

  1. Right to object to processing for commercial purposes:

Under Article 21 (2) of the GDPR, the subject also has the right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes. In such a case, we will stop the use of personal information received for promotional purposes.

An objection can be sent in any format to the contact details given in paragraph 1.

Privacy Policy – Online Privacy

The protection of personal information is of primary importance to us. We will use the identifying information that you choose to provide to us, or that is otherwise collected during your use of the website, only as described in this Online Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

This Online Privacy Policy specifies the type, purpose, and scope of the collection, processing, and use of personal information that you choose to provide to us while browsing and/or that may be transmitted through MORODER’s website (https://www.moroder.wine/) (hereinafter “our site”). Please note that in order to use our site, you are not required to provide any personal information.

The competent data protection authority is the Data Protection Authority www.garanteprivacy.it . If you consider that our data processing does not comply with this Online Privacy Policy or applicable laws and regulations, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. For completeness in certain circumstances, as provided for in Article 157 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (not subject to the normal operation of the site), MORODER will have to transmit information and updates to the competent authorities for verification of the processing of personal data. In such cases, the response is mandatory, under penalty of administrative sanction

Information collected during the use of our site and use of such information

  1. a) Contact Forms

Our site provides an opportunity for you to provide us with personal information by filling out a contact form for example to request a quote or information related to our products, out of interest in a job offer from MORODER ALESSANDRO AZIENDA AGRICOLA. The information you provide may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, age, and date of birth.

We use the information to:

provide you with the information, products, and services you request; personalize your experience on our site; and make sure the site displays in the best way for you and your computer.

We have a legitimate interest in processing this dai anonymously as it allows us to improve and develop our site. We are in no way interested in the identification of the user visiting our site. The data thus collected will in no way be associated with any user-identifying information from any other source.

  1. c) Newsletter and commercial offers

Our site offers the user the opportunity to download and/or register to receive commercial offers sent by us or our newsletter (hereafter “newsletter”). To register, the user must enter a valid e-mail address. When you register for commercial offers or to the newsletter, your IP address, date and time will be saved in our records. This is to protect us in case a third party improperly uses the user’s e-mail address for registration for our commercial offers/newsletters without consent. No other data will be collected. The data thus collected is used for the sole purpose of sending you commercial offers or newsletters. The data is not transferred to third parties and is in no way combined with any information that may be collected on our site. If you download commercial offers or newsletters, we use the Tracking System offered by Google Analytics (see below). You can unsubscribe from commercial offers/newsletters at any time. Further details are contained in the confirmation email and in each commercial offer/newsletter.

We use services and software offered by third parties for email communication and track user activity to ensure that the content sent is targeted and to improve the user experience.

  1. e) Cookie

Our site uses Cookies, Pixel Tags, Local Shared Objects (otherwise known as “Flash Cookies”) and similar technologies during navigation to enable certain specific features of our site and to help analyze user behavior on the site in order to improve the user experience.

  1. (f) Use of Google Analytics’ IP anonymization feature.

Our site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service offered by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (hereinafter “Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files stored on your computer, to help analyze your use of the site. The information generated by these cookies, such as time, location and frequency of visits to our site, including IP addresses, is transmitted to Google in the United States for storage.

Google states that IP addresses sent from your browser will never be associated with any other data held by Google.

On our site we use Google Analytics with the IP anonymization feature. For this, Google abbreviates and then anonymizes IP addresses before transferring them from member states of the European Union or signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information instead of us to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on activity on our site for us, and to provide us with other services related to site and Internet use. This information is used by us for statistical purposes. Google may also transfer such information to third parties where required by law or when data is processed by third parties on Google’s behalf.

We use Google Analytics including the Universal Analytics feature. Universal Analytics allows us to analyze activity on our site across multiple devices (e.g., if the user accesses our site through a laptop and via tablet at a later time). The process consists of assigning a username pseudonym to each user. This assignment is made when registering or logging in with a username and password. Google will not receive any personal information. Adding additional functionality to Google Analytics through Universal Analytics does not diminish or invalidate the security measures taken to protect personal information, such as IP obfuscation or additional browser applications.

You may prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. However, doing so may preclude the user from fully using all functions of the site.

Google offers a function to disable it in most common browsers, so the user has more control over the data collected and processed by Google. By activating this option, no information about your visit to our site will be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, enabling it will not prevent the transmission of information to us or our web analytics service providers.   1. g) Use of Google Remarketing

This site uses Google Inc.’s remarketing feature (see Google Inc. address given in f above). This feature is designed to bring back commercial messages based on the user’s interests through Google’s promotional network. The user’s browser will save Cookies that allow it to recognize that user on sites that belong to Google’s promotional network. Such pages may show users promotional messages related to content previously visited by them on sites that use the Google Remarketing feature. Google states that it does not collect any personal data in this process. Users may disable the Google Remarketing feature from the page http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you may disable the use of cookies for interest-based promotional messages through the Advertising Network Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp

  1. h) Use of Hotjar

To improve the browsing experience on our sites, we use services and software from Hotjar Ltd. (Level 2, St Julian’s Business Center, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian’s STJ 1000, Malta[AB1] [AB1] , http://www.hotjar.com). Hotjar allows us to measure and evaluate user behavior on our site. The purpose is to improve your browsing experience, remember your preferences, solve technical problems, analyze trends, and generally improve our website. For these purposes, Hotjar places cookies on visitors’ devices to collect non-personal device and browser information (such as device IP address in an anonymous format, screen resolution, device type, operating system and browser type, country from which the site is accessed, language settings), related to user interactions (such as mouse movements, keyboard entries, scrolling, etc.) and log data (such as pages visited, time visiting a page, referring URL and domain, date and time of access, etc.). Storage and transmission of information to third parties

Information will be stored on our secure servers and may be shared with our service providers who assist us in targeted communication to specific audiences, personalized advertising, and optimization of our site.

Personal information may be transferred outside Italy and, in some cases, outside the European Economic Area (EEA) where necessary for the purposes of the processing described above (including the transfer of confidential information to third parties). In such cases, personnel operating outside the EEA, our employees or employees of one of our suppliers, may process personal information. By submitting your personal information, you agree to such transfer, storage and processing.

In cases where your personal information is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure that we have put in place appropriate measures to protect your personal information and verify that it is always handled as required by the Act.

Retention Period.

Personal information is retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. Personal information will be deleted when it is no longer needed for the purposes described or upon expiration of the retention periods prescribed by law.

Access to personal information / right to rectification and erasure

According to Article 15 of the GDPR (Data Subject’s Right of Access) you have the right to know exactly what personal information is in our records.

If the information we hold is out of date or incorrect, you have the right to request that we correct and update the data. Under Article 15 of the GDPR (right to rectification), you may also request the deletion of your data, provided that there is no regulatory obligation or overriding legitimate interest in maintaining such data.

No personal information is intentionally collected through The Cookies.

Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, we do not use persistent cookies, or other user tracking systems.
