The Winery
Surrounded by 38 hectares of greenery and wonder, we present the beating heart of our estate: the
Moroder wine cellar.
Time is wine.
The history of the Moroder estate is lost over the centuries. The time that marks the very nature of our life is for us the secret behind every good wine. From the eighteenth century to today we have guarded this secret with love, an ancient love that is part of our way of making wine.
Our wines
Between oak and terracotta.
Until a few centuries ago, our cellar was a stable and ice house. Today the ancient vaulted cave, dug into the clay, houses the small barrels for refining and maturing the wines where supplies were once stored, surrounded by snow and hay. The largest barrels, made of French and Slavonian oak, are today where the oxen and horses rested seraphicly. Over time we expanded the cellar, always underground, following the ridge of Monte Conero. In the new premises we produce and store wine, between oak walls and terracotta faces, at a perfect temperature. And we set up a wonderful tasting room, of course. Find out what you can come and taste in the cellar.
